How do you keep the display setting from the previous version when installing a new version of MIDAS programs?
As a MIDAS user, you probably have the display setting set up in a certain way you like. When a new version is released, it's a great news but you have to go through re-configuring the display setting one by one which can be very time-consuming. There is a short cut to it.

Before uninstalling the previous version, go to the "Registry Edit" program and export the settings you want to bring to the new version installation.
The registry information is stored in the following route: \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MIDAS\CVLw_US\
Once the existing information is exported, they can be imported back after installing the new version.
