How do I account for the cracked section properties over the pier in a two span steel composite bridge. i am not using the design function but need to reduce the section properties in the cracked regions to model the stiffness of the deck correctly.

Hello ,
You can account for the cracked section properties by reducing the section stiffness. You can do this from Properties >> Section Manager >> Stiffness, or from Load >> Construction Stages >> Composite Section for Construction Stage if you are using construction Stages. You can find information on these functions and how to define the parameters in the Online Manual.
