Boundary Issue in MIDAS
Question:
Hi,
I noticed that when I delete supports from the table and run the analysis, those ‘deleted’ supports are still present.
Picture below shows that supports are present.
Then, I delete them as in picture shown below
After I solve the problem, I get this (see below)
Am I doing something wrong?

In this model, specified displacements were provided at support locations. All the places where specified displacements are defined are considered as supports, even if supports are actually not provided at those locations. To avoid this, Boundary change assignment has to be used.
